Lego is the world’s biggest toy company. This was not always the case: the Lego Group had lost money 4 out of the 7 years from 1998 through 2004. On the hard way to recovery one of the tools the company used was a facilitation methodology based on its core product: Lego building blocks. The Lego Serious Play methodology was born. It allowed Lego’s management team to explore various business scenarios in real-time to find the most successful strategy for the firm going forward.
